•          Mr Edward Smith
          321 Captain with Monarch Airlines will be presenting his talk (with coloue slides) "A day in the life of a Monarch Airlines Captain"

• 19th Feb (Thurs)
•           Mr. Chris Jesson
           Airbus Captain will be telling us the history of the Tiger Club and it's fascination aircraft.

• 18th March (Wed)
•           Mr. Dick Richardson

   (Spitfire Flying Club) Manager of Popham Airfield will present the story of "The rise and fall of Strathallen" - a collection of 47 aircraft.

• 16th April (Thurs)
•           Mr Simon Oliphant Hope and Mr Jamie Chalkley

  A unique opportunity, both the pilot and the logistics co-ordinator who worked closely together
  to gain the "Around the World" record for a helicopter.

• 20th May (Wed)
•           Mr. JOHN FARLEY OBE, AFC, CENG
  

  Chief Test Pilot for Hawker Harriers and recently awarded an honorary Doctorate from
  Kingston University, Faculty of Engineering presents "An evening with John Farley".

   

  23rd May Saturday - Society Coach Outing to the Imperial War Museum, London.

  Concorde Instructor Pilot. This will be an evening not to be missed when Mr Henderson takes us on one of his
  fabulous Concorde flights. Sit back and enjoy the trip.

  CAA Eng Dept Test Pilot is welcomed back presenting his talk (with colour slides) entitled "Testing Times".
  His comprehensive talk will include the testing of fire bombing aircraft

  • Mr Graham Laurie
  • Mr Lawrie flew members of the Royal Family for 20 yers and was selected for the "Queen's Flight".
    His illustrated talk is entitled "The History of Royal Flying"

• 18th November - Social Evening in the Airport Restaurant. There will be quizzes, a raffle, free hot mince pies
  and sausage rolls and Christmas Crackers.
